Pastor

I grew up in Camrose and Wetaskiwin, attending North American Bible College (now Taylor) and earning a degree in sociology from the University of Calgary. Working in schools and community service organizations as a Registered Social Worker before starting a family and moving from Edmonton to Ottawa to Edmonton to Washington D.C. to Edmonton to Washington D.C. to Edmonton between 2006 and 2020 (my husband, Liam worked in government, in case that wasn’t obvious).

In 2014, I began serving at Northwest Community Church in Washington, D.C. as Children’s Ministry Director, which led to an Associate Pastor position in 2019. I was ordained by the Church of God in October 2019. During my time in D.C. I also served as the Teaching Director for the Bethesda, Maryland class of Community Bible Study, from 2017-20.

I love the Bible, and have felt a strong and consistent leading in my life to share the life-giving beauty of God’s word to us. I believe it has the power to turn dormant Christians into dynamic Christians. Dynamic, life-giving disciples who expand and build up the Kingdom. It is my joy to be part of that work.

My family and I moved to Edmonton in 2020.  I began serving as the Pastor of Holyrood Community Church in 2021.  I would love to get to know you.
